  Reid's volunteers unselfishly share their time and talents to help us in our mission of caring for others. From teens to octogenarians, volunteers at Reid work in more than 40 different areas. Reid volunteers serve as hosts/hostesses, provide information and directions, work as clerks and buyers in the Gift Shop, deliver mail, arrange flowers, provide complementary services for patients and assist in offices.

• Local Purchasing Guidelines
  In order to ensure that Reid remain financially viable and continue to serve community residents in the future, Reid must approach its purchase decisions, using sound and reasonable business practices. Reid will base its decisions on the following criteria:
• Community Benefit Grants
  To allow Reid to creatively and pro-actively support specific efforts and programs of not-for-profit groups or agencies in the service area which are outside the usual scope of Reid's current activities.
• Leadership
  A spotlight on the leaders of the many departments at Reid and a chance to meet the Governing Board members.
