Multidisciplinary Cancer Conference

The Multidisciplinary Cancer Conference is the tumor board that is held twice a month at Reid Hospital. The physicians review patient's records that have the new diagnosis of cancer. A discussion regarding the patient's diagnosis as well the best plan of care occurs. The team members present consists of the following disciplines:
- Medical Oncologist
- Radiation Oncologist
- Surgeon
- Radiologist
- Pathologist
- Nursing
A consensus regarding the plan of treatment is made. This ensures that all Reid Hospital & Health Care Services patients are receiving the most up to date treatment alternatives.
