| Mother-Baby Care Having a baby is one of the most exciting and stressful events that can happen in a woman's life. And while we want the birth of your child to be a family experience, we also understand you need special pampering as well.
In our Mother-Baby Care Unit, we'll make you feel comfortable with our home-like labor/delivery/recovery rooms. All rooms are private and include a spa-like atmosphere to help bring a sense of calm while you wait for the arrival of your little one. And because we know you want your support person close by at all times, we have sleepers with our rooms to accommodate any overnight stays.
Additional services that you might want to take advantage of:
- Prepared Childbirth Classes: Join us for a series of three evening classes taught by our
Mother-Baby Staff members. Some daytime
Saturday classes are also available. It
is best to register several months before your baby is due. Please call (765)983-3020.
- Free Breastfeeding Class: Taught by our International Board Certified
Lactation Consultant, this class is held monthly. The class focuses on getting breastfeeding
off to a good start for both Mom and Baby.
Many people choose to attend Breastfeeding class at the conclusion of
their Childbirth classes. You may register by calling (765)983-3020 or 983-3380
- Sibling Celebration Class: This class is geared toward 3 to 8 year olds, but fun for
all ages.It focuses on the sibling’s
point of view, when a new baby is on the way.Big Brothers and Sisters should bring: a photo of themselves as babies;
a stuffed animal; and a parent or other adult.Class size is limited.Call (765)983-3020

- Reid Babies: Share the joy of your newborn with family and friends, near and far. Red Barn Photography is available to take photographs of each newborn and post their photos on the Internet if you so desire.
