Prior to joining the medical staff at Reid in 2011, Dr. Sekhar completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Jeevan S. Sekhar, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Reid Cancer Center. He graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, then completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. He then worked for a year in Kenya, serving as the medical director at Matoso Clinic and Ochuna Dispensary, a non-profit organization dedicated to medical relief in rural areas. He also has traveled to India and Mexico to care for indigent patients. |
