 Matthew Stearley, M.D., a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist, has joined Reid Hospital & Health Care Services.
Dr. Stearley received his M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. His undergraduate degree in biology, summa cum laude, is from Wabash College in Crawfordsville.
After an Anesthesiology Internship and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Dr. Stearley completed a Fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey.
A member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, Dr. Stearley is certified as a Diplomate, Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and is also certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Stearley and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter. He is originally from Gosport, Indiana.
