Reid adds intensivist to critical care staff
|
Donald Berman, M.D., has joined Reid Hospital & Health Care Services as an intensivist, a physician trained to manage cases of patients in intensive care. Dr. Berman completed his undergraduate studies in 1971 at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York and his M.D. at the State University of New York in Buffalo in 1975. In 1978, he completed medical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Health Center. He followed clinical and research pulmonary fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with a cardiac fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital, also in Boston. Dr. Berman is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Medical Society. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Chest Physicians.
