Pediatrician joins Reid medical staff
|
Heather R. Nichols, M.D., has joined the practice of Pediatric and Internal Medicine at 1434 Chester Blvd., specializing in pediatric medicine. Originally of Sullivan, Ind., Dr. Nichols completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry at Indiana State University in 2003, summa cum laude. In 2007 she accepted her M.D. from Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis. Dr. Nichols this year completed her pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina's Palmetto Health Children's Hospital in Richland. Her specific medical interests include diabetes, metabolic syndrome and obesity and preventive and well-child care.
