Psychiatrist joins Reid staff
|
Mehtab A. Khan, M.D., has joined Reid Hospital & Health Care Services and will support the hospital's Adult Psychiatric and Geropsychiatric departments. Dr. Khan is a graduate of the Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, India, and holds a masters degree in public health, with majors in epidemiology and international health, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed a general psychiatry residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. A self-acknowledged outdoorsman, Dr. Khan maintains strong interests in music, target practice and volleyball. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and has participated in the organization and evaluation of many public health research projects. |
