In
seven years on the Reid team, Kelli Pierce has earned the esteem of colleagues
for her energy and diplomatic effectiveness in easing the fear and anxiety
often afflicting patients in the Reid Patient Care Center.
"Although
her assignment is in Neuro, Kelli often helps out in Infusion Therapy," a
nominator noted. "She's never known a stranger and is extraordinary in making
sure all our patients are being taken care of."
The
prevalence of such attitudes in the PCC has elevated the recently wed Kelli to
Ambassador of the Month for November. One of her fans noted, "Kelli Frech,
Kelli Pierce: She'd still be a lock for the honor."
"Kelli
is so good with patients, kind and compassionate, and always goes the extra
mile to help, even if it's outside her job description," another nomination
reports. "I would love to see her as an Ambassador."
Another
admirer seconded the notions that Pierce, a New Paris, Ohio, resident, is
always friendly, helpful and compassionate to patients, their families and her
co-workers, no matter how busy the situation.
"An
excellent worker who is always smiling, friendly and fun to be around," summed
up a supervisory opinion. "She is a great employee."
Pierce,
a 2003 graduate of Tri-Village High School, has a Reid career that covers two
years in Technical Services, a year in Heart Services and four years as a neuro
tech.
"Every
day is a reward at Reid," Pierce says. "That flows equally from my wonderful
co-workers and the patients I serve."
Her
husband, Brandon, is an employee of Texas Roadhouse. Their household also
includes Jax, a mastiff/American bulldog, and Nala, a cat.
