Denise Miller, a medical lab technician, has been named the Ambassador for the month of March at Reid Hospital. Denise has been at Reid for five years, working in the lab her entire tenure.
Co-workers describe Denise as kind and courteous and willing to help with any problem, even if it isn’t within her particular job assignment. Nominators say she exemplifies the C.A.R.E. standards and is a pleasure to work with. One lab colleague said, “I have worked in three different laboratories in three different states and Denise is the best team player I have ever worked with. She is always helpful and is always willing to answer any questions.
Denise is from the Arcanum, OH, area where she grew up on a dairy farm and graduated from Arcanum-Butler High School. She trained for her profession at Ivy Tech in the clinical lab program. Denise and her husband, Tim, now live near Greenville, OH. They have two daughters, Megan and Manda, both of whom are teachers.
Denise is happy to be a part of the Reid team and says, “My co-workers are very dedicated and supportive. They make work fun and interesting.”
