Melissa SchroederJust a year and a half into her Reid Hospital & Health Care Services career, November’s Ambassador of the Month has won the respect and support of her Laboratory and phlebotomist colleagues.

Lynn Resident Hallie Fish, her co-workers agree, “is one of those people who is always in a good mood. Her infectious attitude brightens the day of her co-workers.”

“Hallie’s an extraordinary asset to the lab and to the hospital,” avers another nomination. “She’s a master of customer service and always communicates how much she appreciates her teammates.”

Another nominator writes, “Hallie embraces change and makes a determined effort to learn new skills; she lightens the load every day.”

“I have never seen anything but a smile on her face,” noted another nominator. “She is always so upbeat and never has anything negative to say about anything or anyone.”

Originally of St. Cloud, Minn., Fish graduated from Sauk Rapids High School and in 2005 from Ivy Tech in Connersville.

Her husband, Phillip, is a specialist mechanic who rebuilds six-pack carburetors for muscle cars. He and Hallie, a member of the Humane Society, are the support staff for four cats.

“I love working with patients and the community,” Fish said. “Reid provides a warm, wonderful, progressive, loving environment. Everyone here has been helpful and supportive; Reid has been very good to me.”
