Travis Banks, a member of the Engineering Department’s audio/visual staff, has been named Ambassador of the Month for March at Reid Hospital & Health Care Services.
Banks, a Connersville resident and a team member since 1998, drew nominations from several departments for the promptness and effectiveness of his response to calls for assistance.
“Travis is always willing to help with our A/V needs,” writes one nominator. “Many times he will already have completed the task before our department even opens in the morning.”
Another praised Banks for his ability to remain calm and reassuring regardless of the urgency: “I am glad when Travis is sent to help because you know he’ll resolve the problem quickly. He has a can-do, no-stress attitude.”
Banks, who graduated from Connersville Senior High School in 1993, is a 1996 graduate of ITT. He and his wife, Ann Marie, who is a meal site supervisor for Area 9, are the parents of Taylor Leigh Banks, 8.
“Everyone enjoys working with him and is glad he is part of the Reid team,” noted one nomination. “Whenever his expertise is needed, he just jumps right in, usually with a grin on his face.”
Banks, for his part, says he look forward to his job.
“I enjoy working together with all the departments in the hospital, knowing we are taking care of the community,” he said. “I’m proud to have spent all eight years in the Engineering Department.”
