February Ambassador
Richmond
area resident Dorothy Dennis has been named February’s Ambassador of the
Month at Reid Hospital & Health Care Services. She has worked at Reid and
in Environmental Services for over three years.
“Always a delight to work with,” wrote one nominator, expressing a view seconded by four departments. “Bubbly, positive and with a great sense of humor. Dorothy is genuinely interested in others and demonstrates caring and compassion in her interactions.”
“Dorothy is a real gem,” noted another nomination. “She takes her job seriously and ensures the work areas are clean and neat. She has recently been reassigned to a new area, and I for one am envious of those who get to encounter her on a daily basis.”
Dorothy said she enjoys working at Reid because it is a place where everyone makes a difference. “The characteristic portrayed by Reid’s staff that impresses me the most is compassion. Compassion for patients, compassion for families, and compassion for co-workers. Reid is truly a place with a heart!”
Dorothy and husband, Dennis, live in Richmond and are the parents of Daniel, Joshua, Marjorie and Jonathan. They are active in the Madeira Baptist Church.
